Dave was abandoned by his earthly father when he was three years old, causing him to grow up in circumstances that caused him to reject God, especially God as Father. His time in Vietnam in 1967/68 convinced him that God was a tale, spread by people who are afraid to face the real world. In 1974, Dave met Jesus Christ in a very powerful and life changing way. In 2001, he experienced the expressed, demonstrated affection of his heavenly Father during a meeting at which the late Jack Frost was speaking. For the first time in his life, Dave experienced the life changing reality of God as a Father and a parent.
Dave and his wife Kath have three sons and six grandchildren. He is a Vietnam veteran. He is a retired police officer having served 22 years in both the Commonwealth Police Force and the Australian Federal Police.
He pioneered two Bible Colleges in Canberra as the founding principle. He served the Lord in a pastoral capacity in three churches. He has ministered in Vanuatu, Fiji, and Vietnam.
Dave was an itinerant evangelist/teacher with the Apostolic Church International (Australia) conducting seminars and crusades in towns and cities throughout Victoria New South Wales and Queensland along the eastern seaboard.
Dave has always had a burden to see the saints of God realise their full potential through a solid grounding of God’s Word. He has a passion to see new Christians grow strong in biblical truth.
After having a real encounter with the embrace of his heavenly Father, Dave has a burning passion to see the saints of God come into a realisation of the reality of the demonstrated and expressed tender heart of God the Father. In this he seizes every opportunity to share the Father heart of God with all he encounters.
Dave has been in ministry for over 38 years. He has a desire to see believers walking, talking and behaving like a son and a daughter of their heavenly Father.
Dave has a Certificate in Pastoral Ministries, Associate Degree in Christian Studies (ACS), Bachelor Degree in Church Ministry (Bch.M), Masters in Biblical Studies (MBS), and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Theology PhD (Theology).
Dave longs to see the body of Christ experience the love of the Father through His real tangible manifestation of a Father’s embrace for His child as he did.
